Chrissy Farrell is an all-around audiobook 'everything’. Throughout her 15 years in the industry she has donned every hat in the production process - from casting to QC and everything in between. 

 

She started her audiobook journey in 2008 as a staff audio editor for Audible. In 2011, she joined Hachette Audio as a staff post-production engineer, and was later promoted to Associate Producer. In her eight years at Hachette, she cast, directed, edited, and produced hundreds of titles.

 

Since January 2020 she's been an independent contractor, specializing in post-production or directing. She has worked on titles for all the Big 5 publishers, either directly or as a subcontractor, as well as with independent production companies, studios, narrators, and first time authors. She brings a thoughtful ear and eye to her work, no matter the stage of production. 

 

She works mainly in Pro Tools but is comfortable working in Reaper, Twisted Wave, Sound Forge, and Adobe Audition.

 

Her projects have been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards (1 win) and numerous Audie Awards including 2017's

Audiobook of the Year.
